Royal Opera House: Swan Lake

The Royal Ballet presents a new production of Tchaikovsky's magnificent classical ballet, with additional choreography by Liam Scarlett and designs by John MacFarlaine.

Opéra national de Paris: Don Pasquale (Live)

First performed in Paris in 1843, at the turning point of several eras, Don Pasquale, a composite and varied work, is the apotheosis of opera buffa. Performed for the first time at the Paris Opera, the production has been entrusted to Italian director, Damiano Michieletto, who transports us directly to the sincerity and dramatic splendor at the heart of a seemingly light‑hearted work.

All 'Opera: Billy Budd

From Teatro Dell'Opera di Roma:  A gripping drama based on the short novel by Herman Melville, Billy Budd follows a young sailor who finds himself serving under the repressive regime of master-at-arms John Claggart in the Royal Navy. Unable to bear the goodness that Billy radiates, Claggert becomes determined to destroy him, leading Billy to take harsh actions against his superior. First performed at the Royal Opera House in 1951, this is a fresh and innovative contemporary opera.

Top TV circuit & International comedians perform alongside rising stars of the future. We always aim for a smorgasbord of a line-up, offering something for everyone. On the last Friday of the month, the Comedy Cottage take over our largest function room bringing you the hottest local comedians from the circuit. Tickets are just £11 and doors open at 7.30pm.
